That’s how Charlotte Parnack playfully begins her article about the meaning of this small, seemingly unimportant phrase (👉 to the original article). In many languages, it is indeed nothing more than a casual “hello”, but in German, it’s taken a little more seriously.

Today, you’ll learn how to answer the question “Wie geht’s?” (“How is everything going?”) or in its full form “Wie geht es dir?” (“How is everything going for you?”) the way Germans do: being honest and authentic, but without sounding like you’re talking to your therapist 😉
